I, Amanda Glock, established Aunty's Place Pet Boarding in 2017.   Since I adore being an Aunty,  I chose Aunty's Place for the name of my facilty.  The title corresponds with the fun and trust - filled bonds that I establish with my guests and their families.  In opening this facility, my goal was to provide a safe, clean and enriching environment for dogs of any breed to feel comfortable while they are away from home. 

  My family and I reside on a beautiful acreage 11km south of Dunmore Alberta, which is where our dog boarding facility operates. 

    Our house and hearts are full with our four dogs, goats,  cats,  and one beautiful daughter. My days are spent tending to our spacious property, our beloved pet guests, our own furry kids, and continuing my education in canine learning theory and behaviour.  Working in the Pet industry comes naturally to me, and I absolutely love what I do.  I have 17 years of professional pet care experience with vast knowledge in canine handling, proper social interactions, canine body language, breed-specific needs, nutrition, and first aid safety.  Our facility's occupancy is very limited which prevents the dogs from feeling overwhelmed, and provides the extra special care they deserve.  While we always carry a fun and easygoing attitude, our commitment to the safety and the security of your pet guides everything we do.
